A Word Game For The Nokia Nostalgic.
Create a word game to get as big as Sudoku !!! (well, maybe not…). Just create a word game for the fun of it. I wanted to create something complicated, undecipherable but it was not funny or even pleasing. So I came up with this idea in the end.
A grid full of words you have to dig up from the mess of letters. Once you got the head, just follow the lead as a Snake would. A fun game with various flavours, get all the words inside a certain topic or the words composing an enigma to solve.
A title gives you the theme of the grid. The left part is where the magic happens, the right is your journey map. Basically, you have to find words starting from the green boxes and going up, down, left or right (just like a Snake in the world-famous game). Numbers on the right correspond to the horizontal order of green boxes so you know how many letters there are in the word you look for. Once you have all the words, it creates an enigma whose answer fits after the question mark. Find it and you get a cookie !!! 🙂
I always wanted to create a word game, I loved to spend that little time you had before the lecturer started in classroom filling in the crosswords or mots-mélés. This game is a good way to bring the very old (wordgames) and the old (nokia 3210) into a brand new package.
